Holding the book next to Coach Cook is Marcus Shane Garrett, the electrifying all-purpose running back/receiver who went on to star at Texas A&M. Back row, l-r, Kirk James Landry, a running back aka “The Bullet”; Johnny Lambert, an offensive lineman; Danny Castille, a defensive lineman; Marcus “Cheese” Senegal, strong safety & running back; and Tiger Hollier, a star quarterback for the Gents in the mid 1980s. In separate photos, l-r, Coach Cook is shown with Craig Lantz, a running back on the ‘85 team, his first at Crowley, and author Gaylon White; Marcus Senegal; and Shane Garrett.

I asked my photographer-son, Rory White, to take a photo with the cover of my new book, Coach of a Lifetime. Rory took the cover shot of Coach Cook. Instead of taking a selfie, he had his 8-year-old son, Everest, snap the shot. That’s what you call “all in the family.”

A MUST, read for EVERY person, who "ever blew a whistle"! This book tells the story of a COACH, who was and still is, the BEST, to ever do it in this State, Louie Cook!

But, bigger than being a great coach, he is a better person, and a friend to so many.

Better order this book, before they run out.

"Big E is always thinking ahead," Coach Cook told Karen.

Not to be outdone, Karen has submitted a photo of her reading the book with her dog, Lucy, looking on.
